Bioblogia

In 2003, I was finishing my degree in Biology. Soon I would be facing the real world out of the University Limbo and I had been repeatedly told that finding a biology job would be an ardorous task. So I decided to start job-searching right away.
Well, they were right: It's hard to get to work as a biologist. But, actually, if you don't mind moving around, there are many offers out there!
I started sending emails to friends with the opportunities I was finding, but soon that became too many emails... At some point, I realized it would be easier to post those offers in the internet and, in April 2004, Bioblogia was born.
What you will find here are mainly academy positions and, usually, the offers that catch my eye are those related to my field, so this blog is probably a bit biased towards birds and behaviour.
I hope this site can help you to find your own job (and if you want to post your job offer, just write an email!).
Good luck!
Fernando.

Ps: I am now finishing my own PhD and soon I will be facing again the adventure of finding a new job. So, were you looking for a postdoc researcher, you could find more about me here.
